DFA Records are releasing two brand new vinyl 12" singles on Tuesday September 28, 2004, from the groups J.O.Y. & Pixeltan.

and i just got alabama sunshine. havent heard it yet. i still like "silent morning".

after hearing Alabama Sunshine for the first time, it is damn near one of my favorites of theirs, among the others. "Olio", HoJL" (of course), and "Silent Morning", and Killing (I think that is the name of the track). Oh and the El Monte track on this compilation is different than is what is on the single from Delia Gonzales and Gavin Russom. Maybe the one from the single vinyl was a extended version and the one on this compilation is the album edit? I can't wait for the full length from Delia and Gavin!!!
